Haven't tried Evernote yet, but from what I know there's the free version with some limitations and then there's the paid version with all the bells and whistles.
Which version are you using now?
FYI, for office use, I'm making do with Microsoft OneNote, which integrates nicely with Outlook. It's not free, but then again it's standard company-issued. :)
Free version good enough for my needs. Very powerful service/app.
